THANKSGIVING MESSAGE 2015
Our Thanksgiving Day festivities give us a chance to celebrate many blessings in our lives. Hopefully we can all recognize and be grateful for the blessings which God gives. Personally I am grateful for all the support and encouragement that I receive from our parishioners who make this such a wonderful place to live and work; and for our Deacons, Headmaster, Director Of Faith Formation, all of our staff and volunteers who work so hard to provide a caring environment that provides such important ministry in our community. We can also be thankful for all those in the military who are separated from their families and friends. We ask for God’s blessing upon the important work they do. While we are thankful for so much, our prayers are with our neighbors in France and all those in the Middle East displaced by war. Pope Francis has announced a Year of Mercy which will begin in December this year. I pray that our kind and merciful acts will better the lives of those around us. Let’s allow our thankfulness to inspire us to be generous, caring, attentive and appreciative to all those we meet. We all have opportunities within our families and beyond to improve the quality of our relationships. On behalf of our entire staff, I wish you a blessed Thanksgiving Day. Fr. Chris
