Lenten & Easter Schedule of Masses & Activities

Lent is a time of renewal and conversion.  During these forty days we discover where we need to change.  We look to Jesus for direction.  His goodness is a mirror for our lives.  Like Jesus, we are invited to go into the desert away from all those things that distract us, and examine the way we live and see if there is a need for change.  Our willingness to experience a change of heart will allow the love of Jesus to be more evident in us.  On Easter morning we will truly be resurrection people.

St. Agnes Catholic Community

  • The Saint Agnes Young Adult Group is a parish-based community of young adults, who seek to draw closer to Jesus Christ and His Church through worship, study, discussion, fellowship, and service.

  • We envision the Church as a place where young adults feel at home and are empowered to live as intentional disciples of Jesus Christ.

  • To be a catalyst of parish evangelization efforts.

  • The focus of the group is twofold. On one hand, we strive to connect young adults (ages 20-39, single and married, Catholic and non-Catholic) from the parish and beyond with the mission of Jesus Christ and His Church. On the other hand, we seek to foster a friendly atmosphere to promote the mutual encouragement of Christian life among members of the group.

  • We strive to reach young adults through prayer, study, fellowship, service and faith sharing.

  • Our monthly meeting is on Tuesday nights from 7-8 PM at Saint Agnes Church. We meet in the parish center for a discussion or speaker.

  • In addition to monthly meetings, we come together for a wide variety of events such as social gatherings, community outreach, retreats, and athletic events.

  • Other activities are planned throughout the year depending on the interests of the group.
